G’day, Australia!Please excuse the very stereotypical opening; I’m Sauce Labs’ longest serving Australian staff member and I’m super excited to announce that we’ve launched our first APAC data centre! It’s available for use now by Alpha customers, with some caveats; We’re on track to deliver the full Sauce Labs desktop testing experience by the middle of 2021, but right now we’re still delivering features. What’s Available?Right now, as a customer in Australia, you can sign up to use our European or US data centres to take advantage of our full functionality. The OpenJS Foundation (Which publishes, among other things, Appium) has been streamlining their contribution process. Part of the work involved new tooling, such as adding the EasyCLA bot created by the Linux Foundation.This tool helps the foundation be certain that contributors have agreed to their terms and conditions for adding code to the project. It's a common practise for Open Source projects... So common in fact, that this upgrade is replacing an existing CLA process.The upshot of that is, if you want to contribute code, you'll need to agree to their new CLA prior to making contributions, even if you've already agreed to it previously.Here's the project's press release on the subject.
